1st Philippine International Choral Competition

4th A Voyage of Songs

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Date: 4-8 July 2009

It is a festival hosted in the historical Georgetown (UNESCO World Heritage Site) in Penang, Malaysia. It’s a choral competition for different categories: mixed choir, equal voices choir, children’s choir, folklore and chamber choir.

1st Philippine International Choral Competition 2009

Location: Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines

As the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) celebrates its 40^th anniversary, this choral competition aims to bring choirs of different nationalities to the Philippines, a country known for its innate gift for singing.
