“Sang Tinig- a celebration of unity is a choral festival that will be held in St . John Bosco Parish in Pasay Road, Makati City.

The choral festival will feature the following choirs: Alay Himig Chorale, Neo Nocturne, 25th Harmony, St. John Bosco Chorale, Bukas Palad Online Community Choir, St. Bernadette Choir and Francis Dream Chorale.

‘SANG TINIG – St . John Bosco Makati Choral Festival 2009 will be held on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 7pm. Ticket prices is at P100.00 and P50.00.

As I was checking/researching for some sites that might helpful for this blog, I saw this site and I think it might be helpful for all choristers who are in search for music sheets.

Musicamanila.com is a site for music sheets and they carry the choral catalog of the Philippine Madrigal Singers. The songs from the site is now available in print and/or in download.

The site is still under construction, but it is now available for inquiries by emailing them at orders@musicamanila.com.

The voices In Harmony elimination round will be held in November 15, 2009, 3:30pm at Marian Auditorium, Miriam College.

Tickets are available at the venue and will be sold at Php120 each.

1st Magis

The Ist Magis is a one-night musical extravaganza that will feature the university’s own choral groups: The Carillon Ateneo de Davao Glee Club and the Ateneo de Manila Glee Club.

The concert is said to be the first in the history of Ateneo.

The All-Ateneo Glee Club Concerto will be held on November 28, Saturday, at the Finster Auditorium, Ateneo de Davao University. Tickets are available for P150 (discounted price for Ateneo students) and P200 (regular price).

Boy by Philippine Madrigal Singers

The song is actually a revival, originally sung by Timmy Cruz. The song itself never fails to make me laugh, especially when Enrico Lagasca, MADZ bass did the solo.

And I must say, that I liked MADZ’s version more than its original one.
