The STC Cherubim emerged as the champion of youth category at the seventh Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, besting 11 youth choirs from different Southeast Asian countries.
The choir from Sta. Theresa College in Bauan, Batangas was conducted by Aurelio D. Manalo, Jr.

Auf Wiedersehen: Novo Concertante Manila’s Send-Off concert

Novo Concertante Manila will have a send-off concert intitled “Aud Wiedersehen” (Goodbye, farewell in english) on sunday, June 13 2009 at 7:00pm at the Philam Life Auditorium.

The said concert will be the celebration of the choir’s 10th anniversary and in their preparation for their first European Tour and participation in various international competitions both in Austria and Spain in July 2009.
The Novo Concertante Manila is a chamber choir composed of music lovers from different walks of life who enjoy singing together. The “Novo” is an active member of the MADZ et al. family, participating in the annual festivals organized by the Philippine Madrigal Singers. We are based at the Christ the King Parish in Green Meadows, Quezon City and sings regularly every first and second Sundays of the month, 12:00 p.m. and 10:30 a.m., respectively.For more information about the choir, you may visit the choir’s site at novoconcertante.net.
