The voices In Harmony elimination round will be held in November 15, 2009, 3:30pm at Marian Auditorium, Miriam College.

Tickets are available at the venue and will be sold at Php120 each.

1st Magis

The Ist Magis is a one-night musical extravaganza that will feature the university’s own choral groups: The Carillon Ateneo de Davao Glee Club and the Ateneo de Manila Glee Club.

The concert is said to be the first in the history of Ateneo.

The All-Ateneo Glee Club Concerto will be held on November 28, Saturday, at the Finster Auditorium, Ateneo de Davao University. Tickets are available for P150 (discounted price for Ateneo students) and P200 (regular price).

The song is actually a revival, originally sung by Timmy Cruz. The song itself never fails to make me laugh, especially when Enrico Lagasca, MADZ bass did the solo.

And I must say, that I liked MADZ’s version more than its original one.

Madrigaliana II is a tribute concert of the Philippine Madrigal Singers Alumni to MADZ founder/conductor and Philippine National Artist for Music Madame Andrea O. Veneracion.

The Philippine Madrigal Singers Alumni, along with featured artist will perform choral works from Janequin, Monteverdi, Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Puccini, Obispo, Delgado and Paraluman.

The said tribute concert will be on October 16, 2009, Friday, 7pm at Philamlife Auditorium.

Hello there, Koralista here…

Sorry it it’s been months since I’ve updated the blog, I need to take a break from the stress I’ve been through few months back, workload is killing me and sadly, it has affected even my choir schedule.

I had missed blogging about the latest on the Philippine choral news and some of its  competitions and concerts. I also missed watching concerts and some choir competitions.

And so after months of hiatus, I’m back!

And this time, we’ll update this site for the latest on the Philippine choral Industry. We’ll keep you posted!
